| Welcome to our Village Center. This is the centre of our village with our newest addition , the Village Clock. With a few of our stores in the back ground. This is one of our main intersections in Chesterville. I will supply you with some thumbnail pictures, which you can enlarge to have a better look at the stores of Chesterville. If you are tired of living in that fast pace world of the larger cities, and you are looking for a place where you know your children are safe and still receive that quality of education. Then why not look at Chesterville? When you consider what a new home costs in Ottawa, and then compare the prices here? We are only a 45 to 60 min drive, and there now is a bus that will take you from Winchester to Ottawa. Some people, find the price of gas going up all the time, a little hard to take, but what you save each month on interest alone in a mortgage compared to Ottawa, well still put money in your pockets. I enjoy the drive to Ottawa each day, this is my time to relax and enjoy those warm summer evenings. In winter times the roads are kept reasonably clear, which makes driving actually a pleasure. To have a better view of the pictures below, just click on them and they will open in a window of their own. Some of the picture, as an example the one below of the clock will have some stores in it that are now closed. We will be replacing the pictures as soon as the weather lets us again. We are in need of a few more stores coming to Chesterville. We do miss out Mac store which just closed recently. Also Nestles has closed it's doors in Chesterville. This has however has not been a big impact on our trade here. Most of the emplyee's did live outside of Chesterville. We are however looking forward to the new owners coming to Chesterville and look forward to see what will replace this old plant. There were some loss of income to some of our local business's that depended on the sales made to Nestles as a whole.
